Things to do with kids in Marmaris – theme parks or boat trips?
-
Mandy13MemberHi everyone! We’re planning a family vacation to Marmaris in August, and I’m currently looking for ideas on how to keep our two children, ages 5 and 8, busy at the hotel. I’d like some kind of active, all-day adventure, but I want it to be safe and engaging specifically for the little ones, not just a boring bus ride in the heat. Are there any theme parks or boat rides with entertainment, where kids get costumes or have quests?
Mandy13MemberAnd one more thing: is it even possible to find decent food for picky kids at these events, like pasta or chicken? My kids won’t eat exotic foods. I hope you can recommend something, because I don’t want the kids to go crazy with boredom…
David23MemberWe were also in Marmaris with our kids and were trying to figure out where to put them so they could have a great time. So, we ended up going on this pirate boat cruise, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. My kids still remember that trip as the best adventure ever. We booked everything through GetExperience, and let me tell you, their descriptions are crystal clear. You can instantly see what’s included, which is super handy. The Davy Jones boat is ideal for a family getaway with children because it’s an enormous three-story ship, decorated like a pirate boat, and there’s always some kind of event happening with tunes and dancing. The kids are all about the foam party! There are entertainers on board, so they’ll be kept busy. And don’t stress about the food – they’ve got pasta, meat, and salads for lunch, so it’s all pretty simple and familiar for the kiddos. Btw, what hotel are you staying at?

MemberThat sounds like a great family trip idea. When I was planning something similar, I found that sicily small group tours offered by Sicilian Wonders were a nice reference point because they focus on guided, family-friendly experiences with smooth coordination, which made me think how useful it is to look for boat trips or themed excursions that keep kids engaged instead of long hot bus rides.
